Finished the Matching Dress and Sweater

I finally finished the dress and sweater for baby girl.  I’ve been trying to get better at sewing and this was a great project to get me started again.  It was relatively simple and I took my time (and had to redo about 10 seams  haha).  I knit the matching sweater in about 3 days.  The pattern is called Knit Bolero and it’s from the book Vintage Knits for Modern Babies by Hadley Fierlinger.  I LOVE the book and am already planning on making a few other things from it as soon as I finish sewing my diaper bag!

More Baby Stuff

Here’s some patterns and fabric that I’ll be using to make baby clothes and a diaper bag.  The fabric that I’ve picked out so far will be used for a dress from the Burda pattern and a top and a hat from the Burda pattern.  I like them because they aren’t too girly.  Can’t wait to get started!
